Explained
What Is Sub-Publishing?
Sub-publishing is an arrangement where a music publisher in one territory licenses the rights to represent a catalog in another territory to a local publisher — the sub-publisher.
For international labels and publishers, HPM serves as your U.S. sub-publisher: we register your catalog with American PROs, pursue sync placements in the U.S. market, and collect royalties generated domestically on your behalf.
For HPM songwriters, we can arrange sub-publishing partnerships in key international markets — the UK, Europe, Latin America, and Asia — through our network of trusted local publishers, ensuring your songs earn everywhere they're played.

The music industry loses hundreds of millions in uncollected royalties every year. HPM's advocacy team specializes in finding and recovering what's yours.
"The music industry loses an estimated $2.5 billion in uncollected royalties every year. Most of it belongs to independent songwriters who don't know it exists."
